If you don't mind me asking, where did you get your wood?

DO NOT cut your header wood sand it down a little at a time until it fit. remember it is easyier to shave the wood to fit then to add and then shave the wood to fit. every header that I have bought from Steve is a little to big, and I like it that way.you want the header wood to fit nicely under the header cover so that your top molding has some wood to nail too.
