Default Seat cover patterns

I am almost done making all new interior panels and covering them in a full grain leather for my '30 CCPU, I know it's not correct but it looks greats. My plan is to eventually recover the seat with the same leather I used to cover my panels with. Does anyone have or know where I can get a pattern for the seat covers. I would like to cut everything myself and just take it to someone to have sewn together (leather takes a crazy machine to sew and I'm not buying one!). Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

the fella that runs the upholstery shop at Macs is very accommodating.
You might want to give him a call and speak with him.
He might be able to help you for a few bucks...........

Put yourself in a situation of restoring a vehicle where there not a pattern to work off of. In other words, think about it as if there were not any patterns nor a "kit" available. What would you do then??

What we do is use clear plastic (like you find at WalMart to cover Dining Room Tables) to make the mock-up patterns. Use newspaper to make your basic outline and then factor in for your piping and the cushion compression. Also figure in your selvage on how much material you will need. Next transfer the paper onto the plastic and trace it out. Cut and pin together to mimic the finished upholstery. Take your clear plastic to a shop and have them transfer that onto whatever material you plan to use. You will very likely need to have them make the band in two pieces so factor that in too.
