Default Ads

In just the past week or so, whenever I open the Ford Barn site I am deluged by many ads--much more so than in previous times. Is this due to the site contracting with more advertisers, or my ISP doing it? I understand the need for these sites to generate some revenue, and I would contribute if necessary, but these ads are for absolutely NOTHING I would purchase

You’re probably not signed in.

That is what I was thinking too.
I stay signed in and have not had any issues.
If you are having to sign in each time, maybe click the remember me box under the sign in.

No ads for me when I get automatically signed in. The site remembers my laptop. The page should say "welcome (username)" over to the right side and when you last visited the site. When I visit with my iPhone, I get the ads and can't see posted pictures because I'm not signed in.

Thank you for the heads up about being signed in. There must have been a sun spot or something that eliminated my perpetual sign-in. I signed in, and clicked remember me, and the ads disappeared. Isn't technology wonderful ?!

I have been getting the same thing for at least a month. I had another thread about this at that time and it was poo-poo'd off so I just delete the offending ads.

Stick shift,

If you have Apple equipment you may have to sych your phone with laptop and iPad if you have one.

I also have my Apple equipment set to automatic update my operating systems and it sometimes screws up my Ford Barn log in so I have to sign in again then it stays signed in. Be sure to check the “Remember me” box first before you sign in. Sometimes it does work if you sign in first before you check the box.
