New vehicle
I just bought a 56 Ford hardtop
I'd like to know what or who you fellows use as suppliers for interior upholstery stuff, kits, etc? Then maybe good vendors for brake parts, etc? Thanks for any assist. Forgot to add: what about manuals, literature? Jim Last edited by Kahuna; 09-05-2015 at 08:21 PM. Reason: Added info |

Re: New vehicle
I have found that there are a lot of sources for parts for these cars. Dennis Carpenter and Macs are pretty good. I also have a 56 and have done some work on the brakes. Most catalogs have just about everything you need. Congrats on the new car! Any pics??

Re: New vehicle
Another source is Tee-Bird parts in Pennsylvania. They carry sedan parts and TBird parts.

There is heaps of suppliers, brake parts should be easy even your NAPA will have stuff. I even bought 1st oversize linings off the shelf from a brake suppliers here in Perth the most isolated city in the world ; ) I believe Cartouche interiors you can get through Macs and many others.. Rick may see this and tell you how good they are?

Re: New vehicle
Your 1956 Ford Crown Victoria looks great. There are a lot more 1955 Crown Victorias than 1956, so you are a lucky man indeed finding a nice 1956 model. |

Re: New vehicle
Thanks Rowen
That's all I've heard too, except for the magazine or Letters with tips, etc. Think I'll pass. The Hamb 52-59 social group, setup by Jeff, has about all the info one would ever need. JMO Jim |
