Default Please remember the Lake County A's

Probably most of you have seen updates on the massive fire that continues
to destroy thousands of acres...and homes in Northern California. While the
fire now has grown into several counties...it has been mainly in Lake County...
which is home to the Lake County A's...and thus the majority of our members.
Latest stats show 68,000 acres burned...and 39 homes destroyed. 14,000 folks are on stand by alert to head out.
It has been a very long week for all these folks.
Positive thoughts for this situation appreciated. Gil NoCal

There may be more homes destroyed once there able to get in to asses the damage . Looking at the operational maps I think all of the Cache Creek Wilderness area has burned . And has jumped Hwy 20 in several spots .

The Lake County A's gave a Model A pickup to the Lower Lake High School
shop class for a restoration project. While not at a record pace...the project
has moved along...and the club has enjoyed watching the progress.
This fire came within 1 mile of the high school!
Nasty stuff! Gil NoCal

Northern California is heaven except in fire season. Have a plan, leave the cars, take the dogs and your insurance info.
