Re: How long has she been "Your Baby"?
A widow was selling the car, she wanted nothing to do with the car and saw that I had little money to spend being only 15 years old so she accepted a very low offer of $500. She cared about the car going to a good home more than she cared about the money.

Re: How long has she been "Your Baby"?
I made the deal to buy my Model A coupe on my birthday in 2002 and picked it about a week later. I've learned a lot since (and still learning) and had a lot of fun with it.

Sure wish I hadn't waited so long to buy my first one. I bought a 31 Chevy Coupe for $150 when I was 17, and that was my first antique car. I liked it but sold it after a couple months because the tranny was bad, and I didn't know where to find parts. A hot rodder bought it for $180, so I broke even after towing it home from Fargo, ND.
