Default Cowl Band Embossing on 1930 gas tanks...

One question that has eluded me is just when did the 1930 gas tanks (the A-9002-C tanks with new style instrument panel) go from three (3) 1 inch embossings to a continuous embossing on the top of the gas tank to hold the cowl band in place.

I think this change happened sometime between April-August 1930?

Anyone?

Thanks.
