Re: model model A
I can't see any sign of glue there. But,that model went through extremes of heat and cold for a long time.It was in an addition to a house that was not lived in for a while. It went through winters and summers of sub-zero to 100 degree heat.It could have fallen off.I went to tear the addition off with a backhoe and ripped one wall off.I saw the back of a wood shelving unit with what looked like a model car on the top.I went in to grab it and found there was a bunch of them.An estate cleanout crew had been there, and when those guys are done there is usually NOTHING left worth over a nickel.I know this particular crew, and after they were in there I wouldn't even bother looking inside after they were there.Somehow they missed the whole cabinet.

There is a Tudor, Pickup, Roadster and a Sedan Delivery; as well as a hot rod version of the Pickup and Tudor. I just wish they had a Fordor but no such luck. I usually pick them up for about $20-$30. The Tudor's don't seem to show up as often and when they do, they usually go for a bit higher price. |

With a Google search I found this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1931-model-...QAAOSwaSZaEwEy http://www.hobbylinc.com/htm/mmi/mmi11211.htm PS I have a $25. price tag on mine. One of these cold days I maybe tempted to break the seal and sniff some model glue... Last edited by [email protected]; 01-03-2018 at 12:26 PM. Reason: One site said model was discontinued. |
