Question about 1934 Ford hubcaps
Anybody happen to know if the original 1934 Ford hubcaps were made out of polished stainless or chromed steel?

Re: Question about 1934 Ford hubcaps
Polished stainless. The old Argentine repos were chrome and poor chrome to boot. They would rust overnight if the local male dog got to them.

Re: Question about 1934 Ford hubcaps
The only non-stainless capped Ford versions were the service parts made during WWII, which were painted black with a painted red V8 on the face.

Thank you. For all the details. Now I just need to find a set for my truck.
