Re: concourse correct details
One very minor item you might want to address before the judges take out their clipboards. The radiator cap appears to be on backwards.
Otherwise, deep breath, refreshing. |

Re: concourse correct details
Whaaaat? Is there supposedly something wrong in that picture? If it's the bolt missing in the front mount, I'm pretty sure that if that bolt is present on the other front mount you're gonna be fine.

Re: concourse correct details
I gotta agree with GB, that bolt is on the torque side, it should at least have some heavy wire triple wrapped thru the hole. Otherwise, with the exception of that aftermarket AHOOGA horn (they have such bad tone) I find it just fine for local cruising and leave the judging out of the equation !

Re: concourse correct details
How about the incorrect carburetor ? It is a 94 type carburetor, where it should be a Detroit Lubricator carburetor. I am surprised that David G. did not catch that, although he did state that it was a nice starting point. The horn is not an aftermarket item, it is a late 1932 ford horn.

Re: concourse correct details
I think we need to see the rest of the car for a total evaluation!

Re: concourse correct details
I'm just confused. Picture is obviously old driver with incorrect almost everything in the engine bay. Is this trying to poke fun at restoring a car "as Henry built it"?

Re: concourse correct details
Box Car Tom, thanks I will reorient the cap's position
GB, looking for the bolt with the correct raven finish cas3, the car has the rare dual horn option to give the pleasing mix of beep and arrroga JM, don't worry, the aging process is only beginning Mtn Wudy, the correct length of hose is hard to find David G, thank you (and thanks for sharing your vast knowledge of all things 32) bandit Nick, but it does have original Polly gas in it Steve, stay tuned marko39, true but the accessory leather support strap for rough roads is script Bill, I used a 1932 Esquire calendar, I will recalibrate |

Very cool, and that's pretty much how I would keep it. Thanks for the pics!

Re: concourse correct details
Nick,
The horn under the hood is the one referred to, not the one on the fender flange. Happy new year to one and all! |

Re: concourse correct details
Are those original bullet holes or aftermarket bullet hole on the left side of the cowls?
