Default It must be true - I saw it on the Internet - eBay.

"Harry Shay was a friend of Henry Ford. Around about 1980 He came to Henry and asked if he could use the original Model A molds to make a fiberglass Model A. Henry said yes, but Harry would have to sell all the cars in Ford Dealerships. This worked well for both men. Shay got the exposure he needed to sell his new cars, and many of the folks who lined up to see the Model A wound up buying new Fords from Henry."

The above description was the background 'facts' behind a 1980 SHAY which is currently being sold on eBay.

I trust eBay 'experts' who sell items there, and the 'background information' about their products. . . . about as much as I trust Lawyers and Politicians - right up there with Snake Oil salesmen.
