Confused about "original" upper distributor plate drawings
.
I compared some original upper distributor plates to the pictures/drawings in the Judging Standards and Service Bulletin. This is what I found and like an explanation from the experts here. See pictures please Judging Standards upper plates shown in 1st picture Service Bulletin page 210 January 1928 shows first used upper plate. Could not find picture or drawing of the one piece forged plate. Service Bulletin page 289 October 1928 shows the new upper plate. Service Bulletin Page 346 and 347 May 1929 shows the adjusting of the new upper plate but drawing is different upper plate?? Service Bulletin Page 439 March 1930 shows same drawing as above but still does't look like the new upper plate. Service Bulletin Page 542 February 1931 still shows the to me unknown upper plate? What am I missing here? Would love your input on this. .. Last edited by Joop; 08-02-2019 at 07:38 AM. |

Re: Confused about "original" upper distributor plate drawings
From what I see all is correct, except the 2nd style one in the first picture is missing the point post and the attached plate is broken..
