Default Six foot long runningboards ?

"A" FORDBARNERS . . . . . . . . . . .
I have a pair of six foot long diamond pattern runnings boards with the Ford script running crossways. What did these come on originally ? It is not practical to take a photo, as they are being used as shelves.
Thank you,
MIKE BURCH

Or just a 1928-early 1929 Model AA truck. My March 1929 AA flatbed had them with rear fenders.

Maybe for a Model T truck? Do they have the carriage bolt holes in them for mounting? If so, they are close to Model A but about 1/2" shorter.

‘28/’29 AA Long Running Board - 70” long (69-3/4” at the front edge); 9-1/2” wide.

The '28 boards have tight edges (like the A commercial board). The '29 boards have a radius for the edges (like the T commercial board). The '29 boards were used through mid '30. They have Ford script across the width about at the center.

How LARGE is the Ford Script? a model T would have a larg script in the center @ 4x6 inches. AA Express and rear fendered rack bodied trucks would have the Ford stamp along the edge in the center. I sometimes miss my 1928 full fendered rack bodied truck.

The '28 through mid '30 long AA running boards have a large Ford script across the width of the board (about in the center). Attached is a picture of a '28 board (center section).

NEIL WILSON . . . . . . . . . . . .
My running boards are 69 3/4". I mis-spoke when I said six feet. I believe that they are just like yours, as the script look the same too.
So, this makes them "AA" FORD truck, from 1928 to mid 1930. Right ?
Thank you very much ! I thought that they might even be "T" big truck.
Mine are in very good condition, with only a few diamonds worn through, on one of them. They have never been damaged.

No Pluck it isn't a business coupe, It's my 30 standard roadster shown in my Avatar picture. I know you can't make out much detail. I do have a 29 Special coupe tho that I've owned since 1980. Barry
