Default How to empty OLD MESSAGES

For some reason I apparently just can't grasp deleting old private messages. I want to save the last few and delete the older ones. I am 100% full and cannot receive new ones or delete old ones. HELP !!!

Lawson....Click on "Private Messages".Then, click on one that you'd like to delete. After it comes up, scroll to the bottom of the page. You will see a small "delete this message" box.Click on the small box. Then at the very bottom is a larger "Delete This Message" box.Click on that one also.It should go away.

Thanks, Willit Stop. Sort of a slow process, but it does work.

I usually starts at the last page and select all the boxes on messages i want deleted then go down and click delete that should erase all messages you selected at once.
Next time mailbox is full last page gets cleaned up again.
You have to set the selected messages dropdown row to delete...go button on the right will show how many items you selected.

Don't forget the count includes both sent and received messages. You have to select the different file folders.

To delete a bunch, go to the most recent message that you want to delete and click on it. Then scroll to the last message and hold down the shift key and click that message, that will put all of the messages between in a group then press delete, it should then delete all of the messages between the first and last, it can take some time if there are a lot.

I'll give that a shot. Got to be a faster way.

If you want to delete multiple messages at once, you can do so from the page that lists all of the messages in a given folder (Inbox, Sent, etc).

On the right side of the listing there are check boxes next to:
  1. each individual message
  2. each time grouping (ie; 1 week ago, 2 weeks ago, older, etc)
  3. the total message count

These checkboxes allow you to select different combinations of messages.
  1. All of the messages in the active folder:

  2. All of the messages in a time group:

  3. Individual messages:

Once you've checked the messages you want to delete/move/mark as unread/mark as read/etc, scroll to the bottom of the page, select the appropriate action from the drop-down menu, and click "Go".
