Center Fold
I only buy because of the articles BUT. (never heard that before)
The center fold pages in the current "Model A News" has a accessory that I have never seen on any A ever. The parking light mounted on the fender and not the cowl. is there any out there? $2.50 cheaper than the cowl lights. Things you learn everyday. In the day that seems better than cowl lights because of the separation from the headlights. And was the quail rad cap only a option or did Henry put it on. just wondering

Re: Center Fold
Go on the Buenes Aries Model A Club website, those lights are COMMON, there. Even if you can't read their Spanish, you'll be there for HOURS!
My 16" hub caps were made there, they still have the stickers, inside them! Bill W.

I don't think it translated too well, by I know the feeling! Ford A and poetry. With free escape to better hear the singing engine! I'm going to the hill mounted on my Ford! My Ford is simple as Clavileño of Alonso Quijano. Docile my effort, going wherever I want, by hills and plains and forests cheerful! ... for a downhill along in second! ¡el soul in a vertigo tremendous, it plunges! as I run .... fills me a desire to break your neck! And Ford. .. CREAKING WHOLE! and seems to jump in pieces! and the wheel goes to my arms! What a thunderous vibration of steel! .... a suicide chicken crosses my path! and under the wheels : I leave "Extra-Chato"! Do not disturb me absolute straight neither dog! Neither cat! Well I indisputably sowing julep and murder! |

The quail and the parking lights, both cowl and fender mounted, were Ford-authorized extra cost options, except for a few models that had cowl lights standard. Probably more A's have them now than ever did back in the day - most folks then didn't have the disposable income for "fancy gee-gaws". Not sure, but I think the fender lights were discontinued after 28 - 29. There was a Tudor that had them on eBay a while back - only one I've ever seen. |

Re: Center Fold
I'm surprised nobody has reproduced the fender lights.
