Default 1939 Ford

Hi, I need some assistance ASAP on how to install the front garnish moldings on a '39 Ford Coupe. I have the necessary clips, just need some guidance on how to install them. Thanks.

I have bought and installed the garnish clips on my 39 Ford. The clips kind of snap into the garnish moldings. You need to install all the clips onto the molding, then press the molding with clips, into position. It helps if you know the exact placement of the of the old clips. If I recall, the little teeth, on the clip, grab onto the door material and hold the molding on. Mine are doing the job, but I am not sure that this was one of Fords ' better ideas ' I hope someone will chime in, that has done this more recently, and can ad to this.
