Default Heaters?

Are the manifold heaters the only correct part used for heat back in the day supplied by Ford?

There was the South Wind (gasoline fueled), and many people later on adapted a H/water heater to the A. None of which were Ford parts, to the best of my recollection.

The Hadees hot water heater was designed to fit the space in the 30/31. My brother had one in his 30 coupe and it worked well. I sold my last one at Hershey a couple of years ago as it would have been a tight squeeze in the 29 coupe. I find the bolt- on Autolite hot air heater with a 160 deg. thermostat to be adequate and no extra water line hoses are needed. The Hadees water heater in my brothers 30 coupe fit just to the left of the GAV choke rod and the space was adequate.
