Default headlite ignition switchs

I want to paint the dashboard of my 1950 Ford F1 , and I think it would be neater and cleaner to remove the head lite and ignition switches. I am familiar with the button to push on the headllite switch, but mine does not seem to have one. I have no idea of what holds the ignition switch in place. Can someone enlighten me on how to remove these two items. On the wiper motor switch, is there a pin in the knob that needs to be removed to access the bezel? Thanks in advance for any help that is offered.

Does the bezel unscrew?

Look here and then Google the same for the ignition switch.

I finally got it!!!It is nothing like the directions say.!! On my F1 there is a 1 inch slot in the bottom ledge of the dash under the light switch. I put a small screw driver in the slot and accessed the switch from the bottom and not the top. I was able to pry the brass binder forward, releasing it's binding action on the push/pull shaft. I turned the light switch a 1/4 turn left and then right and it released from the switch. I was then able to put a screw driver in the bezel and unscrew the bezel that held the switch to the dash. Like every thing else, once you see how it works, it is easy!! I suspect that the brass binder was bent too far back, thus not allowing access to the rear most of the binder from the top. By making access from the bottom, there was no hindrance and the binder was easily bent forward and released it's hold.

Now that I got the headlight switch, how does the ignition switch come out?? Google has nothing to offer nor does you tube or any searches on the barn.

push the switch in back of dash and turn the bezel counterclockwise.

My dad would say "It wasn't born in there" so, yes it'll come out.
