Live near Gattlinburg tn? National Tour help needed
We are trying to find some additional trailer parking for the 2013 mafca national tour. We are hoping to find a member who lives in the Gattlinburg area who knows of a large empty field that we could park some trucks and trailers at. If anybody can help, please let me know. Arlen [email protected]

I live about 100 miles away and frequent that area quite a bit. I can tell you that parking space in Gatlinburg itself is almost non-existant. My suggestion is that you consider something in Pigeon Forge. Many of the larger hotels have large grass fields that might be rented. During the summer when the rod runs and car shows are in town, trailer parking is sometime staged at schools but even then, it is very crowded. One thought is maybe Dollywood would consider renting some space on one of their overflow lots down by McCarter Holler RD. If you do need to be in Gatlinburg, the high school in Gatlinburg is actually Gatlinburg Pittman outside of town off of Hwy. 321. My kid's high school team used to play them and when we would travel down for the game, parking was always a premium at the stadium as I recall. It is a little 1A school too so the campus size is kinda small (bad for trailer parking!). Good luck. |
