Window glass for a coupe
Where are all of you buying your windshield and window glass from? I have a 30 coupe that needs it all and want a good product, not the cheapest by any means. I have also thought about a light tint - if that makes a difference in who I would buy it from. Thanks

Re: Window glass for a coupe
Best bet is probably like Mitch says.
I've heard good things about Vintage Glass in CT, Tolland I think. Shipping is a lot though. Personally I think tint will lower the value of the car. JMO Paul in CT |

Re: Window glass for a coupe
Any good glass shop can do this. All of the glass is flat and can be cut out of safety glass. They can install it too. Probably less expensive also.

Re: Window glass for a coupe
A good local shop would be the least expensive.
Bert's, Brattons, etc. have to charge for shipping and that adds up quick. |

Re: Window glass for a coupe
We have a local shop that has cut glass for us for years. That was until the kid that was assigned to clean up the back of the shop threw out all of his cardboard templates. Kid thought they were just trash. We have taken enough back to him to get back in business.

Re: Window glass for a coupe
My local glass shop charged me $150 to cut and install my windshield. The vendors charge $170 + shipping and no installation.
