Talking Carb leaking question...FIXED. AND IT FIRED UP FOR THE FIRST TIME!!!

My leaking carb question that I posted yesterday wasn't what I thought it was. It looked like it was leaking from where the 2 halves joined, but turned out to be the gasket where the side bowl joined the carb. The gas was running along the bowl seam giving the appearance that the main gasket or warpage was the culprit. Also as suggested, I did recheck the float level and it was a little high which was remedied by shimming with another washer behind the Viton needle. Thanks to all for the help.
And the best part ....drum roll please, she fired right up. Been 3 years since I started the chassis with nothing but a bare frame and boxes of parts.
Thanks to everyone who has ever posted on the Barn from where I've learned so much. I've read almost every post for the last 6 or 7 years when Shelly had the site.
Been grinning for hours .
