Re: 1934 Ford 1 1/2 ton Truck Awaken after 70 years
I rescued mine from Great Falls MT. It died in 1963 from it's last tag registration. #3 rod came undone. It now has a 1951/52 EAB flathead in it. Tight fit at the radiator. I use Zep Industrial floor wax on the body to keep the original patina as close as possible. Good luck getting the fuel gauge to work properly. It works on atmospheric air pressure against fluid trapped in tube.

Re: 1934 Ford 1 1/2 ton Truck Awaken after 70 years
SWEET RIDE!!! you could escort some Veterans for the next July 4th Parade unless you want to keep all those tanks up there. I like the use of a canopy top or perhaps high side boards. There's a guy on the Model "A" forum that left all the wood rough and finished down with linseed oil. Either way you go, she's a beauty!!!

Mike,
What happened to the original starter? I'm sure we have a handful, but shipping would be spendy. Red |

Quote:
Should fit in a USPS large flat rate box. $22.45 and 70 pound max weight. Just pack it tightly so it can't move around. Comes with $100 of insurance.
