Default winterizing the cooling system

I run RO, (reverse osmosis) water and No-Rosion, and it's getting near time to drain the roadster's cooling system for winter storage. Looking for ideas to keep the nice clean engine cooling passage from rusting up when the water jackets are empty. The system takes at least 4 gallons of coolant, and I do not want to use anti-freeze. Is there some type of product I can run in the cooling system that leaves a protective coat, after I drain it. ?
Thank you Fordbarners.

If any one knows, No-Rosion should. Why not ask them?
Their thinking seems to be "the wrong thing to do".

I am wondering why not anti freeze? Mine sit for years with the typical mix of anti freeze and soft water for our sub zero winters with no problems.

Ralph: I, like you, did the same for many years before the new anti-corrosion additives appeared on the market. The old ethylene glycol 50/50 mixture did the job, but now the electrolysis that occurs between different metals (like alum heads, copper) can be reduced to a greater extent by specially designed anti-corrosion additives. Chemistry has really advanced.

Yep, really advanced. I can remember when alcohol was used by most cars.
The primary concern at the time was the loss of alcohol thru evaporation.
(had to keep your eye on the levels)

I can only hope the new anti freeze already has those anti corrosion additives. Not using anti freeze is not an option in this country.

Add some No-Rosion just for added protection and peace of mind.

Thank you all for your responses. I will check with Applied Chemical to see what they say.
