brass ford logo fire extinguisher
I have one of those brass "Pyrene" type fire extinguishers with the ford logo. I was thinking it would look good mounted on the middle of the floor in the front of my '46 Woodie. The question is - what years were these installed or available as an option for Ford cars ? Is this something that would have been (or reasonably could have been) installed in a 1946 Ford ?
As always thanks for your help. |

Re: brass ford logo fire extinguisher
Bill, You are in the right era. Here is a brochure from 1948 showing the extinguisher and its uses.

My Pop's old 48 F5 had one behind the seat.
