1935 coupe-transmission removal
Need Guidance - We have a 1935 3 window that came with a later tranny with
matching original Ford column shift. Always worked great . Until now. The question is....If I slide the rear back , will there be room to get the tranny out the bottom past the original crossmember or does it have to come out thru the interior??? Thanks in Advance!! |

Starting with the '49 shoebox you could drop the transmission from beneath. Before that, they all come out from the inside of the vehicle.
