Default ID'ing a FORD 160-C 2-Window Fordor Body

The FORD Body 160-C
2-Window Fordor Sedan

The 2-Window Fordor Sedan body was built by Briggs, Murray and suposedly by Ford.

To ID a Briggs body:

1. There is a “bug” or manufacturing mark on the front lower section of the cowl;

2. It utilized “D” nuts to fasten items to;

3. The Body Number Tags were “139-XXXX” or “CL 139-XXXX”.

To ID a Murray Body:

1. There is NO “bug” or manufacturing mark found anywhere;

2. It utilized “Cage” nuts to fasten item ms to;

3. The Body Number Tags were “160-C-XXX”.

That being the case…Just how would one ID a Ford 160-C body?

Thanks.

Pluck

I have a 160-B and there are Briggs logos stamped on some of the sheet metal. There is one on the metal sub-rail which is under the woodgrained dash rail. It is a large "B" with "co" inside the "B".
