Does anyone know how the wire's route and where they connect to get power and ground for the dome light?

Mine runs along the roof rib, then foward and down the driver's side just behind the windshield and over to the terminal box on the firewall. The light ground comes from a screw on the body somewhere in the headliner (forgot where).

A search for "dome light wiring" might turn up some good past posts with pictures.

No trying to hyjack your thread but can anyone tell me where I can find a cover for an oval shaped dome light in my 30 town sedan? I have looked in all of the vendor sites and they only have the round ones. I have the base up there but the cover was missing when I got the car.

This is where owning a copy of the Judging standards really comes in handy. Their is a diagram showing all of the dome lighting wiring for all cars.
