Last year T5 for a conversion?
What is the last year that the S-10 had a T5 that will work with the available adaptors to mate with a Flathead? I have a lead on one from a '93 w/2.8 V6 and don't want to get too deep into the negotiations if it isn't right for a conversion.

Re: Last year T5 for a conversion?
The 93 is an exelent transmission, but has the Ford bolt pattern. Richard of Fla has one of thes style transmission in his 53 HT, very simple instillation IF you can find the aadapter that bolts to the stock 49-53 Flathead bell housing. It's just a small adapter plate and you use all the stock Ford clutch linkage.

It looks like the '93 up transmissions are world class, not that it is necessary for my use. Thanks to you both for the information.
