Heres mine. '49 8ba in a '53 Ford Mainline. Its currently running on open manifolds and the wiring isnt complete in the car. The link is a youtube video of it.

Lucky? Yes. I disassembled 4 engines before I found a good block. Why take a chance.

Here's my 59A block with 8RT heads and a Merc crank in my '35 woodie. Runs real well after 7 years and 6,500 mile of mostly summer driving.
