brake cross shaft assembly
I'm putting mechanical brakes on my 37. Does anyone know if the brake cross shaft assembly is the same for 36 and 37. Thanks,Ernie

Re: brake cross shaft assembly
I believe the 36 used solid "brake rods" and the 37 used cables. The Parts book indicates different prefix on the assembly in 36 and 37. I think I have a 37 in my pile of parts. email me at [email protected] if I can be of any help.

I also have a bunch of leftover '37 mechanical brake parts. If you need anything, PM me.

Yes, they are entirely different.
