Default Model A Heater-Snyders

Hi All,

Has anyone installed a Snyders heater in their Model A? If so does it work well? Is the heater motor fairly quiet in operation?

Thanks, Steve

I have one in my Fordor. It really heats the car even in freezing weather. The fan is noisy but that may be due to the way my hearing aids work. I have a multi position switch on my fan that provides 3 different fan speeds. The lowest setting is usually enough for cold days. I have one of those ball valves in the plumbing so that I can turn the hot coolant flow to the heater off in the summer, although without the fan going there is not much heating. Years ago there was a post by someone who did the plumbing with some copper pipe with soldered joints. It looked very neat compared to my rubber hose. He still provided a rubber connection at the end that goes through the firewall to account for engine movement and vibration.
