Is this for the 1935 in your other thread or a 1949?
Is the battery under the floor? |

Get an Optima Red Top 6 volt. 800 CCA and all of mine have lasted well over ten years. Kind of expensive (about $200) and funny looking as well. If that bothers you, you can get a Faux case and top that will make it look like a regular battery.
When you factor the longer life with the extra expense, they're not that much more. |

The same car Bob. It’s a ‘35 w an 8BA with some performance upgrades. I left the battery under the floor partially under the front seat.

Tubman, its converted to neg ground 12V. I had a red top 12V 800 CCA & it lasted 10 plus. This is the replacement for that.

I did this recently in a '34 as well as a '36. They do last for many years and deliver much more CCA's than an acid type battery.

What size should i get? Is this sizing info good for the 8BA-DieHard Marine Starting Battery: 24M Group Size, 800 CCA, 1000 CA, 135 Minute Reserve Capacity? I've read the marine batteries are better for keeping charged and charging?

You should be able to drive home with that if you happen to run out of gas.
