Re: Tool question
The best tool I ever bought for metal fabrication is an old Sears band saw, and a Diemaster blade, 1/2" wide, .025 thick and 14 TPI, (teeth per inch) for it. The saw cost $75. and the blade was about $40. That blade has been cutting steel and everything else on an almost weekly basis for 10 years, and is still working well. The blade is made by Lenox in Massachusetts USA.

Re: Tool question
What are you cutting? If it's sheet metal get a electric nippers or a great set of metal shears.
