Default 1926/27 Touring vs Roadster Seat Risers

I've been searching for this answer since I'm looking for the parts to replace the front seat riser of a 1926 T Touring. I was looking on Mqc's and there didn't seem to be one for the touring. Searching around here, the HAMB, and the rest of the Internet, I still don't have a conclusive answer.

So, what say you? Same or different?

Anyone have one they'd like to sell?

Do you have whats left of one for a template? A competent tin knocker should be able to make one.. Try an outfit like Rootliebs? Call Mark at this site:

There's nothing there. All the rivets were drilled out by a previous owner.

Don't know if you tried Howells Sheet Metal, but they are the ones that make the replacement parts for Macs, Snyders, Brattons Etc. They show the front seat pan for use on a roadster or touring. Seat riser? Not sure but worth a try.
Good luck

Howell's list the complete seat riser for the roadster. From what I can see the only difference is the touring is the same less an extra lip on the rear rail. It looks like an easy modification that would work. A call to Howell's might answer that.

The pictures with a bit of green & no fabric are of a 26 roadster, those with fabric & some black showing are of a 26 touring. The rear rail with some rust holes is that of the roadster.

Thank you, fellas, especially Jack for the photos. I believe I've located a decent donor for the parts, which will keep any reproduction parts off this build, for now.

Thanks again!
