New batch of condensers
We have completed a batch of 25. I believe that I have notified all of those who have expressed an interest in purchasing these.
If I missed anyone, it's because of old age. |

Re: New batch of condensers
Hi, What do the condensers look like? Are they functional? Are they correct for a 1952 F-1?

Re: New batch of condensers
Thanks, Coop. I'll jump in here and say these condensers are not cosmetically correct for a '52 F-1. They are actually meant to be used on vintage hi-performance ignition systems. The specialized distributors had a second set of points the occupied the space where the stock condenser usually was located. These were mounted externally on the side of the distributor. They are, however, functionally compatible with most early points style ignition systems. I have been making these for over 6 years, and after almost 500 units, we have experienced NO failures. Thus, while these are intended for hi-performance systems and have to have the right "look", people have begun using them with stock ignition systems. They are expensive, but look great (witness the two polished units on the WH DuCoil pictured above), and are dead stone reliable.

Re: New batch of condensers
Hey Tubman, would these work on any old time distributor? Not knowing a lot about electrical systems besides being able to turn on a light switch are these dedicated to 6 or 12 volts or does that matter at all?
