Default First generation Battery Support Assembly and attachment studs

The first generation of the Battery Support Assembly, A-5151, contained two screw studs. These studs were the same studs that were used on the engine to support and attach the cylinder head to the block. These studs were either unfinished or black oxide.

That being said, were these studs that were used on the Battery Support Assembly also unfinished or black oxide OR were they painted Gloss Black along with battery support?

Thank you.
