I tried to find 'Kewanee Green' that match my Kewanee Green with no luck. I also just wanted some for touch up. I finally went to Finish Master and had them match my car. Looks good but $$$ for touch up only.

Maybe there is a Finish Master http://www.finishmaster.com close to you? Helps us if you add your location...

If you can get a paint chip, take it to a Sherwin Williams store or any good paint store and they should be able to match it for you. I’ve had Tacoma Cream and Washington Blue glossy enamel paints mixed for me - very reasonable prices.

Or, you might get the Model A paint chip book sold by most suppliers and take that chip to be color-matched.

Good luck.

The problem is I have seen many shades of Kewanee Green so even if you found some there's a good chance it won't match.

If you are in the US, try TCP Global in San Diego, Ca. They can match/ provide lacquer and other materials depending on VOC req'ts for your area.. If you can send them a chip, or small piece of metal with paint on it, etc. they can match what you have (As per post 4), not what the color chips show.

This add is pretty old, but you may want to reach out to Ed.

That would be the standard to which all Kewanee Green cars are painted. But alas time and the local matcher originally may conspire together to make your car a different Kewanee Green.

Paint does fade, and the technology of color analysis continually improves.

Just go to a good paint store and have them match a paint to the area you want to touch up. Will cost you a fortune but it works

An automotive paint store can match it if you take the car to them, or a piece of it. I took the cap off my door panel to match Vagabond Green for a small batch of touch up paint. They can also mix and match into a custom spray can.

If you don’t know where to find such a store, ask a small paint and body shop in your area where they get their paint. A big shop often has their own on site paint mixing.

A point to remember. Colour chips are only a reference, a place to start. Even as a standard there's a 10% variance depending on manufacture. Get to know the Bodyshop supplier nearest to you, have them scan the colour and work from there. I worked for 8 hours to match a red for a MGA. Welcome to the world of Automotive painting!! There are painters. People that put paint on and then there's Painters that colour match, blend, solve the problem colour matches etc. JP
