1949-1953 Flathead Ford Block - Ported, Relieved, Tested, and Cleaned

Up for sale is a 1949-1953 Flathead Ford block that has been ported, relieved, magnafluxed, pressure tested, and cleaned. The magnafluxing revealed no cracks (other than a few inconsequential ones between the bolt holes and water jackets) and perhaps more importantly it passed the pressure testing with flying colors. The testing was performed by a very reputable machine shop here in South Florida that specializes in Flathead Fords. The work on this block alone would be far more than the asking price. It will need further machine work to be 100% ready to run, but you will be starting with a known good block that already has a lot of expensive work done to it.

Keep in mind that the photographs were taken before the block was fully disassembled and sent to the machine shop for testing. The block is currently at the machine shop, but I will be picking it up and can post additional pictures later. I can ship this as far as California for about $160 (to a location with a proper loading dock and/or access to a forklift). Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
