Default Tie Rod Replacement

My next step is to replace my tie rods:
1) Can I do it without removing my backing plates?

2) Do one side at a time or both at the same time?

3) Any tips or tricks I should know? (I know the threads are different on each side.)

I could not find step-by-step instructions or a YouTube video specifically.

Thank you guys for your help!

Take a look at Tom Endy's post in the link referenced in #2 above, he describes exactly what you are asking.

Hello, mine were probably replaced a long time ago, marked at Thompson Products on them I think that’s TRW today.
