Default to narrow or not to narrow a ford 8.8?

Looking for thoughts on weather or not to narrow a ford 8.8 out of an explorer? For a full fender four door slantwindow.

Suggest asking this question over on H.A.M.B. https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=25

This question might be kinda outside the scope of this page. H.A.M.B. deals more with the hot rod side of the hobby.

Use an 8 inch. It doesn't need narrowing.

Narrowest 8 inch is out of a Maverick with a 56 1/2" WMS to WMS measurement.

Yup, works great with readily available weld on spring mounts. Use stock spring and stock cross member.
