I've scoured the books I have but nowhere can I see what is the diameter of the rear spring shackle pins.
Can anybody please provide a size?
As you all know, we tow a camper behind our A and the weight of the drawbar on the tow bar is enough to lower the back of the car too much. I have a spring from a fordor or commercial vehicle which I want to swap over before we tow. I'd like to have the heavy spring ready to go with shackle bushes already installed. I will make bushes to suit once I know the diameter of the pin.

I have a new set not yet installed. I just went our to the garage and measured them. 9/16" is the answer.
