Re: Radiator shell question
The 31 shell is stainless steel with a painted panel at the top front and bottom front, and open to the radiator. The 32 shell is curved, painted, and has a vertical rib grill hiding the radiator. Do a google search on 31 ford and 31 ford and look at the photos that come up.

Re: Radiator shell question
you must also remember ,there are some 32 model A's .my friend has a 32 model A pickup, looks like a 31 but titled as a 32.Henry didnt waste anything, they continued to use up the parts from 31's just put on the title 32.So a 32 can have a 31 grill.

Quote:
31 and "true" 32 vehicles are different in many ways, including the grill. It's true that Model A production continued into 32 (April, IIRC). However, it also was common to title a vehicle in the year it was sold. So one built in 31 might have been titled as a 32 if it wasn't sold until then. |
