Do you have a picture of the old ones?. Look for a part no. On the points base.

There are a couple different part numbers:
orginal article # 10-52344W and newer number is : 10-357174 available here http://www.chiefaircraft.com/bdx-10-357174.html Harmon Collins uses the same points as well.... I do have a couple pairs in stock if ya cant get them. $125 per set.....(1 pair ) I also have the orginal Car Craft articles with complete direction for making the LZ into this distributor... Car Craft April, May and June 1954.. Available on ebay right now , pretty cheap... http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...+1954&_sacat=0 Need it synced when done let me know....... |

I will no doubt need your services, do you know who I may get to grind the shaft and remove the perspective lobes that are called for to be removed ? your price on the points reasonable to me, which ford dist. is the best one to use to have a good curve? I was considering maybe setting the dist. shaft/lobe assembly in my lathe and maybe using a degree wheel to grind off the un needed lobes using my DU-More tool post grinder to remove the lobes not needed. But I would rather have someone more experienced do them, anyone here on the barn have any one that can handle the grinding? Thanks Fordestes |
