Default New Flat motor, what carb?

I'm putting together another flathead motor for a 34 3W Coupe. Here is the parts...

59A, 40 over, Merc Crank, Schnieder 248 cam (mild).

We want to go far, not fast.

My last motor had 2 stromberg 97's on an Eddie Meyer intake. It ran well. This time I am leaning towards running one 97 on a stock intake.

What would you recommend?
