I have club coupe that I'm making a package tray for and from what I can tell it sits on the rail under the back window. What's puzzling me is does it connect to the curved piece of wood behind the seat?

not sure on a '47 but our '41 packqage tray sat flat and the "rollover" of the rear seat top held it in place

I can get a pic later but it's an arced piece with a perpendicular piece running the width.
