Trying to figure out the material that is in the condenser screw hole is?
Any body know? |

There is a bakelite washer that prevents the condenser from shorting out and on the outside of that was originally a "plug" made of some kind of resin to keep water out. They sell a rubber plug that does the same thing now.

I believe the original plug used by Ford was beeswax. One can get this by purchasing candles made from beeswax. they don't drip wax when burning them I found out too.
I suppose you could pinch off a bit, heat it with your hand or hot water and form a plug with it. |

Toilet bowl rings typically are made from beeswax and are redly available at your local hardware store too.
