Yea, Yea, Yea... But my mom's dad's fixall was old inner tubes and bailing wire. Could be considered a period accessory for an early V8... Duct tape no.

The original "duct tape" was asbestos wetted with wheat paste. As a kid, I did that with my father on many of his moonlighting furnace jobs.
Fast forward, Duct Tape has been mispronounced for so many years now that it's even spelled Duck Tape on some packaging.

I use a roll of duct tape on the floor of my '32 pick-up as a cup holder. Works quite well.
