Thanks bill. Like the way you talk... No I haven't done a run out on it yet , but that's should be done as one of my next jobs. My daughter will have to read it as I crank up front .. I can hear the moaning now! I'll have a real good look for cracks, but I don't think so.
I am about to go strip the gearbox but I doubt there is much to save.. It had me thinking that if the parts really add up I could just about buy the flat attack conversion to fit a Toyota 4 speed auto...mmm? Oh and I have got Macs book, be lost without that.

Mart, it's a good point your making. the rake is not too bad, when I pulled the torque tube a bit of oil came out, seemed a normal amount to me . When doing regular oil checks really not much out of both, mainly due to the leaks they have.
