Default Restored 1934 Ford Tire Options ?

Hello Barners, im looking to purchase a set of original size tires for a 1934 Ford and I found Lester, Lucas and Firestone. The Firestone I'm told are a post war tread design and Lucas tires weren't made in 1934 but I believe look the best. Any advice and input is greatly appreciated. Thanks,Mark

Better check with supplier. You may not be able to get what you want. I am having issues with availability.

While no one offers a tire whose tread matches one of the originals used by Ford in 1934, the 5.25/5.50-17 Lucas tire has a tread design that has a period look and resembles that of a B. F. Goodrich tire of the 1930s. My second choice would be an Excelsior tire from Coker.
