Default Model a pressure plates

Ive been trying to figure out an issue with rebuilt pressure plates and correct finger height. The disk is about .365 thick. Distance from flywheel disk face to plate mounting surface is 1.135. Not far off from 1.123 the books call for. On the rebuilt plates im getting finger heights at 1 1/8 down. An old core on there yields 1 1/4 finger height. Up till now ive just readjusted to get 11/16 down but there must be something not right. Anyone have any insight as to what im missing? Thnx

A picture as to where and how you are getting/taking the measurements from would help.

The assembly should be fully assembled and measurements from top of plate to finger contact points/ends. Either 5/8 or 11/16" will work, pick one. Difference though between fingers should be no more than .002".

I carefully set all the fingers to 5/8" and the clutch is very smooth and engages at just about the right spot off the floor.
